After making these in copper, they were just screaming to be made in sterling silver. I can't get over the beauty of these midnight blue faceted spinel rondelles. Simply gorgeous. These earrings also have a unique "spin" on a hoop design while being a dangle at the same time. A true artisanal design!
My handmade french ear wires are hypoallergenic as they are made from sterling silver and bare copper, both free of nickel and lead. Sterling silver is a great option for sensitive ears, and while copper is generally well-tolerated, it can react with some skin types over time.

All handmade pieces feature either bare copper, .925 sterling silver, or both! I only use semi-precious gemstones and sometimes a Swarovski crystal or two.

Your piece has been given an added feature of an anti-tarnish coating, but tarnish is bound to happen. The easiest way to keep your piece shiny is to wash it regularly with mild soap, warm water, and towel dry. Even better yet - use a sonic jewelry cleaner. You can keep a polishing cloth on hand for an extra step. For protection when not wearing, store in an air tight bag with a moisture absorber.
