I remember going to my first gem show in Roanoke, Va when I was little and a very kind jeweler let me try my hand at polishing a stone. It just so happened to be a snowflake Obsidian gemstone. So this stone holds a special place in my heart.

All handmade pieces feature either bare copper, .925 sterling silver, or both! I only use semi-precious gemstones and sometimes a Swarovski crystal or two.

Your piece has been given an added feature of an anti-tarnish coating, but tarnish is bound to happen. The easiest way to keep your piece shiny is to wash it regularly with mild soap, warm water, and towel dry. Even better yet - use a sonic jewelry cleaner. You can keep a polishing cloth on hand for an extra step. For protection when not wearing, store in an air tight bag with a moisture absorber.
